The Fauxbie Awards (2023-Present)
The Fauxbie Awards recognize excellence in the Double Decker advertising industry. At Vector Media in 2023,
our marketing team started the first double decker, advertisement focused award series as a fun way to give back to our clients, as well as spotlight the best creatives and achievements through transit media.
The name "Fauxbie Awards" is a parody on the OBIE Awards. The logo is designed to look like vinyl peeling off the block letters. Categories included: "Most Likely to Stop Traffic" (Campaign with The Most Arresting Creative) and "Most Buzzworthy" (Best Creative for Alcohol Brands).
For the visual identity of the Fauxbie Awards, I took inspiration from loud and playful award branding such as MTV VMAs, using Vector's brand colors juxtaposed with abstract, neo-retro shapes to spark nostalgic joy.
