With Budlight leaving WKNY, the New York office looked for a design solution that replaced the Budlight branding on the fridge with a design that reflects WKNY. The design was inspired by art deco-styled posters and alcohol advertisements from Europe, an eclectic style that works great in the WKNY space.
INSPIRATION
For the visual mood, I took inspiration from European, art deco posters for alcohol and espresso. The style of using grainy gradients, minimal color pallet, and modern sans serifs that embody the art deco movement, to bring a resilient and eclectic look that fit well with the history of Wieden+Kennedy. 
ITERATIONS
In order to simplify the design for the final, I took away extra assets from the previous iterations by eliminating extra lines, less text, and using a solid background as opposed to a noisy galaxy. In this case, less is more.
